A man accused of being involved in a scuffle at Sydney Airport during which a police officer's firearm was allegedly discharged may be hit with further charges, a court has been told.

Nicholas Teplin, 41, was allegedly involved in a scuffle with police at Sydney Airport during which an Australian Federal Police member's firearm was unintentionally discharged.

Mr Teplin was allegedly acting suspiciously in the T2 domestic terminal and became aggressive when approached by officers on August 13.

He was granted bail following his arrest; however, just a day later police claim he punched a man in the head at Sydney's Central Station before allegedly striking another two men and trying to grab a bag from a fourth.

Mr Teplin is further accused of pushing a male officer in the chest while in custody following his train station arrest.

He allegedly said words to the effect of "I know I'm going to get bail like always" while in custody, according to court documents seen by NewsWire.

Mr Teplin earlier pleaded guilty to hinder or resist police officer in the execution of duty, affray, assault police officer in the execution of duty, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and common assault in relation to the train station incident.

He has not yet entered a plea in relation to an additional charge of common assault.

In the John Maddison Tower Local Court on Monday, the Commonwealth indicated that further charges may be laid over the alleged airport incident, and the matter was adjourned until December 9 for charge certification.

Mr Teplin, who is on bail, is facing charges of obstructing a Commonwealth official and creating a disturbance at an airport and is yet to enter pleas in the matter.

He was also expected to be sentenced over the train station incident on Monday; however, he was unable to appear due to health issues, the court was told.

The Victorian man is now set to appear in court on November 25 for sentencing.

A court was earlier told that Mr Teplin had been on medication for post-traumatic stress disorder for the last five years.
