The Block came to a dramatic conclusion on Sunday night, with only three of the five Daylesford properties finding buyers.

Billionaire Adrian Portelli wasted no time gloating over the poor results, which saw four Blockheads walk away empty-handed.

Portelli, 35, exited Nine's show in July, announcing himself as sponsor for Seven's upcoming My Reno Rules, after spending $15 million during The Block finale last year.

Taking to his stories as the disastrous Block finale went to air, the entrepreneur shared a meme which featured the logo of Nine's ratings juggernaut crossed out.

Portelli added a Channel Seven brand over The Block logo and included the caption 'My Reno Rules'.

Announced in July, My Reno Rules has been hyped by Portelli as a 'rival' to Nine's long-running renovation show.

The entrepreneur, who spent millions of dollars snapping up houses over the last three seasons of the show, shared a post to social media revealing he was leaving the series for good.

The slam comes after the high-profile entrepreneur was spotted in Daylesford last week, leading to rumours he would front up to the auction alongside another serial Block buyer - IT businessman Danny Wallis.

But just as the auction was getting underway in rural Victoria on Saturday, Portelli was flying into Sydney on his private jet before heading out to a bucks party with a group of pals.

It was Western Australian couple Britt and Taz took who were the big winners on The Block over the weekend.

They managed to offload their stylish House 3 for an impressive $3.41million.

With a reserve of $2.99million, the pair went home $420,000 richer - adding to that, a $100,000 bonus prize, netting them a total $520,000.

The winning sale came from an anonymous phone bidder, after a battle with Melbourne rich lister, Danny Wallis.

Robby and Mat's property scored a poor result going for $3.099million, netting the best mates a meagre $109,999 profit.

The auction went better for Sonny and Alicia, who sold their home for $3.06million - $120,000 above their $2.94million reserve.

Still, the finale was heartbreaking for Blockheads Emma and Ben, and Han and Can, who saw their properties passed in.

Bidding stalled on Emma and Ben's pad at their $2.99million reserve - and even a $3.10million bid failed to help it generate interest.

Meanwhile, Han and Can left the series without making a penny after their pad failed to generate much heat from potential buyers.

The pair admitted to feeling 'physically sick' as their dreams were dashed.

There were tears throughout the episode for Han and Can, who felt their journey on the show had been a disaster all round.

There were fears of an auction disaster in the lead-up to the big day, with the eye-watering price guides on the Daylesford homes raising some eyebrows.

Earlier this year, it was revealed that the teams behind the five properties were hoping to fetch $3million to $3.3million for their creations.

However, the insanely high price guide did not match up with the median house prices in the Victorian town, where homes are four times cheaper.

According to PropTrack data recorded in July, an average home in Daylesford costs around $820,000, which marks a decrease of 7.1 per cent compared to the year prior.
