* Jonas Brothers Nick, Kevin and Joe brought their "JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown" tour to a sold-out Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee Oct. 12.

* The two-hour-and-10-minute concert touched on 37 songs, from their first single to unreleased material, with the Brothers and 11-piece backing band bringing fun-loving showmanship to each tune.

* The concert was broadcast live on Samsung TV Plus and included plenty of special surprises, including a couple of song premieres, surprise guests Yellowcard, and the brothers' dad appearing on piano.

How do you follow-up a tour that, in recent history, may have offered the most generous fan service shy of Taylor Swift's "Eras Tour"?

In the case of Jonas Brothers, you top it.

That seemed to be the case for Joe, Nick and Kevin's current run -- "JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown" -- based on the Milwaukee stop at a sold-out Fiserv Forum Oct. 12, a show that was broadcast live on Samsung TV Plus.

Granted, the setlist wasn't as extensive as their last run, the Brothers' own version of the "Eras Tour." That 2023 show also brought them to the Milwaukee Bucks arena, where they touched on a whopping 65 songs across two-and-a-half hours.

This time they touched on 37 songs that ran the gamut from the first track they ever wrote as kids, "Please Be Mine," to new songs they've yet to release, amounting to a two-hour-and-10-minute run time.

But whereas that last tour at times felt like a tiring data dump -- even impeccable showman Joe Jonas couldn't hide the sheer exhaustion from his eyes near its end -- the Brothers were unstoppable, impeccable, camera-ready showman for every second of their Milwaukee return.

And 20 years into the band's run, the Brothers are greater than they've ever been, their richer voices making nostalgic throwbacks like "Lovebug" vastly better in Milwaukee.

They've also wisely leaned into their love of Stevie Wonder and '70s pop and soul in their show, honored on 2023 album "The Album." The concert featured 11 sensational and highly animated touring musicians (including a sharp four-piece horn section and standout guitarist JinJoo Lee from Joe's DNCE project) that brought electric energy with synchronized choreography and fun-loving vamping all over the stage. From Disney Channel-era hit "S.O.S.;" to the Brothers' Bee Gees-channeling newer single "No Time To Talk;" to Nick Jonas' ahead-of-its-time, and still sleek, standout single "Jealous;" every song sounded fantastic, and every performance was a blast.

They also made this broadcasted concert feel like a special, singular event, not through sheer volume of songs, but plenty of personal touches.

There was a nice shout-out to the Brewers, and a fan-pleasing prediction that the team is World Series bound, even though it's facing off against the Brothers' current hometown team, the Los Angeles Dodgers. There were plenty of fan interactions, including three songs played affectionately on the spot based on requests: "Pushin' Me Away," "Things Will Never Be The Same" and "Tantrum." The interactions spanned from Joe Jonas sporting a sequin-studded cowboy hat with his name on it given by a fan during the set; to Nick Jonas stopping the show to acknowledge a fan with a sign saying they were 10 years cancer free, resulting in a beautiful, arena-wide celebration of that wonderful milestone (and a promise from the Brothers that they'd take a pic together post-show).

The Brothers also used this televised concert to premiere strong new solo songs, including the misty-eyed "Olivia" from Joe, and a slick R&B jam from Nick called "911." The biggest reaction for these, though, and possibly for the whole show, was for Kevin Jonas. He typically vibes along with his brothers, but he commanded the spotlight, and showcased a gorgeous voice, for his new song "Changing." Here's hoping we see more Kevin Jonas standout moments going forward.

And for the end of the night, the Brothers thrilled fans by bringing out Big Rob to rap his verse on their early career hit "Burnin' Up." Then for the finale, they brought out brother Franklin, and their father Kevin Sr., the latter playing piano as the four JoBros offered sweet harmonies for "When You Look Me In The Eyes."

That's a song, Nick Jonas reminded the crowd, whose music video was filmed in Milwaukee, at the Eagles Ballroom.

Now they'll have two milestone Jonas Brothers Milwaukee shows to talk about the next time they're in town. But it's going to be a really, really tall order to top what they did here in town next time.

Joining Jonas Brothers at Fiserv Forum: The All-American Rejects, Franklin Jonas, and surprise guests from Yellowcard

* Another cool thing the Jonas Brothers have done on this tour is bring out a variety of special guests, including Demi Lovato, Marshmello, and Hanson. For the Milwaukee show, the thrilling surprise was Ryan Key and Sean Macklin from Yellowcard, a pop-punk band the brothers admired when they were young. They teamed up in Milwaukee for a rocking rendition of Yellowcard's "Ocean Avenue," with Nick Jonas tackling a verse solo.

* Beyond the bonus surprise guest, there also was a bonus Jonas: Youngest Jonas brother Franklin Jonas, leading his new project, Franklin Jonas and the Byzantines, for a show-opening 15-minute set. In the vein of Zach Bryan, albeit without as much songwriting polish and pathos, Jonas effectively leaned on eager-to-please earnestness, including a run through the lower bowl, no security guard in tow, as he sang Coldplay's "Yellow."

* The All-American Rejects have gotten so much attention this year for random pop-up shows in unexpected places -- including in Green Bay -- that the prospect of an arena tour opening set seemed rather pedestrian. But leave it to the pop-punk band to defy expectations yet again by placing two strong closer candidates -- "Swing Swing" and "Dirty Little Secret," complete with arena-headline-level bravado -- early in their set.
