Title track 'Freak' featuring B.I blends ampiano, ethereal sounds to explore reality-illusion themes

BM will release his second EP PO:INT (Point) through various music platforms at 6 p.m. today (20th).

The title track 'Freak (feat. B.I)' is an ampiano genre-based song, blending a lively drumbeat with ethereal flux sounds and flute samples, leaving a lingering sensation as if drifting through a surreal realm. In a dangerous yet captivating night where reality and illusion collide, BM's fatal fantasy unfolds through an irresistible allure that seeps into the sensual melody.

BM directly participated in writing, composing, and arranging the track, showcasing his evolved musical capabilities. B.I further amplifies the track with a featured verse, promising a powerful synergy.

The music video, released alongside the audio, begins with BM checking into 'THE FREAKY HOTEL.' After being instantly captivated by a hotelier he encounters at the lobby counter, BM continues a 'FREAKY FANTASY' with her.

Additionally, PO:INT includes 'Ooh,' a track that pays homage to 50 Cent's 'P.I.M.P.' and evokes 2000s R&B sensibilities; 'View,' a romantic confession set against a sophisticated groove; 'Move,' an addictive house rhythm portraying endless nocturnal temptation; 'Stay Mad,' a declaration of identity with the message "No one can stop me"; and the instrumental version 'Freak (feat. B.I) (Inst.)' -- a total of six tracks.

PO:INT marks BM's first EP in approximately 1 year and 5 months since his debut EP Element in May last year. As the overall producer, BM led the album's creation, capturing his most honest and bold confessions amid the boundary between ecstasy and destruction. Through PO:INT, BM reveals a dual nature -- both destructive and enchanting -- across genres: sensual temptation over upbeat rhythms, retro-inspired tension, excitement and confession toward a muse, dreamy moments born from endless stimulation, and a powerful energy declaring his identity.
