Security restrains fan chasing actor after 'Waiting For Godot' Broadway performance

According to the U.S. Daily Mail, Reeves faced distress after a female fan pursued him following his recent Broadway performance of 'Waiting For Godot' in New York. The woman claimed to be "Keanu's divine wife" and attempted to open the actor's vehicle door before being restrained by security personnel.

A witness video captured the woman shouting, "Keanu, I'm your divine wife!" as she chased the vehicle. When the woman fell during the security team's restraint, another fan at the scene exclaimed in shock, "This person needs a restraining order."

Following the shocking incident, Reeves was spotted on the streets of New York on the 24th, local time. He was dressed casually in a blue hoodie layered under a brown jacket, with a red scarf adding a pop of color, appearing to carry on with his routine calmly.

Though the actor looked somewhat gaunt while running errands, he eased fans' concerns with a relaxed smile. Local media reported, "Reeves appeared composed, seemingly unbothered by the unpleasant incident."

Reeves is currently challenging himself on the stage, portraying the role of Estragon in 'Waiting For Godot', directed by Jamie Lloyd and performed at the Hudson Theatre in New York. While some critics harshly reviewed his performance, stating, "He's perfect on screen but appears stiff on stage," The Guardian praised, "His chemistry with longtime friend Alex Winter stands out."

Recently, Reeves attended the premiere of the film 'Good Fortune' with his partner, Alexandra Grant, dispelling rumors by sharing a tender kiss.
