Baileys has launched two limited editions, Baileys Terry's Chocolate Orange and Baileys Toffee Popcorn, which I was more than ready to try. Do note, though, the festive drinks are best served "chilled from the fridge".

First up, Baileys Terry's Chocolate Orange; a 500ml bottle is available from stores including Morrisons (£11), Sainsbury's (£11 with a Nectar card), and Tesco (£11 with Clubcard).

Sampling the flavourful Irish cream liqueur, my tasting companion and I observed how the drink genuinely captures the taste of Terry's Chocolate Orange. If you're a fan of Terry's Chocolate Orange, you'll undoubtedly enjoy this Baileys variation.

There's an unmistakable orange aftertaste, but be aware, those who aren't particularly fond of Terry's Chocolate Orange may find themselves undecided about this Baileys creation.

Fortunately, several cocktail suggestions appear on the back of the bottle, offering multiple ways to savour the drink. The three main recommendations include a Chocolate Orange martini, drizzling it over ice cream, or adding a dash to your coffee.

Whilst Baileys Terry's Chocolate Orange could warrant a five-out-of-five star rating, its limited universal appeal has reduced it slightly.

With four weeks remaining until Christmas Day, there'll be ample opportunity to sample Baileys Toffee Popcorn. The limited edition - ideal for those cosy indoor film nights - has the aroma of toffee and delivers a sweet toffee flavour.

However, it's not a substitute for toffee popcorn and may receive mixed reviews. It's not bad, but my partner and I doubt it will become a staple in the Baileys collection.

What has successfully become a part of Baileys' permanent collection - and rightly so - is Baileys Chocolate. Unquestionably smooth, Baileys Chocolate is a crowd-pleaser that my partner and I absolutely love.

It's scrumptious, easy to drink, and tastes delightful from the first sip to the aftertaste. Baileys Chocolate is so good that it could even give the original Baileys classic a run for its money.
