An online influencer, Just Deano, took on the thrilling endeavour of consuming solely Wetherspoons food for three consecutive days and ended up naming his top choice from the menu.

During this 72-hour period, he sampled numerous breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, incurring a total expenditure of £44.38 for his wide array of meals. His dining experience comprised a fry-up, pizza, fruit and yoghurt, beef and pancetta lasagna, a Christmas dinner, steak and ale pudding, and a shawarma chicken wrap.

However, though the Christmas turkey dinner failed to win him over, a delightful seasonal surprise took the spotlight, for all the right reasons.

The serendipitous event occurred on the second day of the challenge, which happened to be a Wednesday, synonymous with Wetherspoons' celebrated Pizza Club. In the spirit of the festive season, Deano decided on an 11-inch Christmas-themed pizza, which came loaded with chicken, stuffing, bacon, and brie.

Together with a soft drink - a combination of orange juice and lemonade - Deano couldn't help but gush at the incredible value, noting: "Ok, for £7.96 this is an absolute steal."

Once his meal arrived, Deano couldn't hide his excitement: "One thing Wetherspoons do do right is the pizzas! Look at this. Crispy, properly cooked, it has got a load of green on here, rocket, you've got Brie, bacon, stuffing."

Adding to the praise: "Oh man. That is a tasty pizza. Beautiful Brie, nice stuffing... Do you know what? £7.96 you can't beat this."

His glowing review continued: "Really really tasty, crispy bacon, nice Brie on there, which I didn't think Brie would go on pizza as a cheese really, I thought it would make the dough a bit soggy but it hasn't.

"This is brilliant, Pizza Club, unbelievable."

Deano shelled out an average of £14.80 daily over the three days, a fact that left him rather chuffed, and he mentioned it could have been even less costly had he skipped the Christmas dinner which totalled £12.52 with a pint of Guinness.

Discussing that specific meal, he expressed: "As you know, I'm a big Wetherspoons advocate, I do like some of the food in there.

"But if I was going to choose a festive meal, I wouldn't choose the festive dinner I've just had. As you saw on the plate there, I did leave a bit of the carrots and parsnips, bit tough, not cooked enough through.

"It was just okay. The elite stuff is the pizza! The pizza yesterday was just out of this world. That has been my favourite so far. But for today, my favourite must be the lasagne."

Upon wrapping up the 72 hours, Deano lauded the "absolute bargain" prices, stating one could get a full meal for the price of a pint.
