Dakota Johnson has been spotted on a date with a pop star seven months after splitting from Coldplay's Chris Martin. Chris and Dakota were together for eight years but split back in June this year.

It looks like Dakota is back in the dating game as the 36-year-old has been seen with a 28-year-old star. Dakota enjoyed a candlelit dinner with American singer songwriter Role Model as well as some other friends.

Role Model, whose real name Tucker Pillsbury, reportedly got very close to the Fifty Shades of Grey actress on the cosy evening out. Role Model's last known relationship was with influencer Emma Chamberlain which came to an end in 2023.

The couple were in a relationship with one another for three years and their split reportedly influenced his album, Kansas Anymore.

While Dakota is just shaking off the wounds from her on-off relationship with Yellow singer Chris. The pair got engaged during their turbulent romance but called things off for good seven months ago.

At the time, a source told The Daily Mail: "Their relationship has been over for a long time, they just haven't been able to figure out to make it official.

"Dakota held a flame for them to be together because she loved him so much and loved his kids so much. Breakups aren't instant and they continued to breakup and makeup and sometimes things would work when they were away from each other, while they were working."

Chris has two children with ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow - daughter Apple, 21, and son Moses, 19. Sources said Chris and Dakota's 13-year age gap and the topic of children had often caused problems between the pair.

"Dakota is devastated that she isn't going to be around his kids as much anymore, but wants them to know that she is always there for them," an insider told The Sun.

It has been rumoured that Chris has moved on and is also dating another celebrity. Chris appears to be getting close to Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner, 29, after they were spotted on a date.

Sophie split from her aristocrat boyfriend, Peregrine 'Perry' Pearson a few months ago while Chris, 48. Chris and Sophie were seen together a week after the actress was seen both arguing with and passionately kissing Peregrine at a wedding in late September.

Unlucky in love Chris has been spending time in London over the summer after Coldplay had a string of dates scheduled at Wembley Stadium for their Music Of The Spheres tour.
