Even if you haven't seen Super Size Me, you've probably heard about the man who ate fast-food every day for 30 days to document its effects. But one man on social media claims to have taken that experiment ten steps further - eating only fast food for a staggering 700 days straight.

The 32-year-old says he started the diet in the summer of 2023, and hasn't missed a single day since. Taking to Reddit to share his results, he said: "I have not gone a single day without eating McDonald's, or an equivalent fast-food like Taco Bell, KFC, Burger King, Chinese takeout, Indian takeout etc. But predominantly McDonald's. Fast-food is literally all I eat."

He says he typically consumes one large meal per day, estimating it to be around 2,000 calories, washed down with Coca-Cola or a Red Bull.

His usual McDonald's order consists of a Big Mac, 9 Chicken McNuggets, large fries and two BBQ dips.

Adding to this, he said: "However, I will often get an additional side or two, or 20 Chicken McNuggets, or a McFlurry."

Despite the diet, he claims to have a "healthy" BMI of 20.8, weighing 66kg (145lbs), and says his blood pressure is normal.

He doesn't snack or eat breakfast or dinner and gets the rest of his daily calories from energy drinks or soft drinks.

Explaining why he prefers to eat fast-food over healthy, whole foods, he says it mostly comes down to the taste, how it makes him feel, the convenience, and the price point.

He added: "My digestive system only feels horrible when I try to eat cruciferous vegetables or drink water. No idea why, I have always been this way."

He went on to claim he hasn't eaten fruit in over a decade, adding: "Maybe 10 or 15 years, in fact. I hate fruit. Salad makes me feel violently sick."

When asked if he exercises, he didn't respond directly - but says he has a "regular" body type.

According to the NHS, the average man needs around 2,500 calories per day to maintain a healthy weight while the average woman should aim for 2,000.
