An American actress who shouted 'free Palestine' at the end of her Emmys acceptance speech was praised by a Hamas publication who ironically censored her cleavage and bare shoulders.

Hacks star Hannah Einbinder won her very first Emmy on Sunday evening, taking the honor for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.

As she wrapped up her speech, wearing a strapless silver and black down, the comedian concluded with a voice of support for her favorite football team - followed by two political statements: 'Go Birds, f**k ICE, and free Palestine.'

Her statement about the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza soon caught the attention of Quds News Network - but they made sure she looked modest as she did so.

'Hannah Einbinder explains that her decision to say 'free Palestine' during her Emmys acceptance speech came from her belief that, as a Jewish person, she has a responsibility to distinguish Judaism and Jewish culture from the ethnonationalist project of the Israeli state,' the outlet wrote on X alongside a photo of her chest clearly blurred out.

In Islamic culture it is considered inappropriate and disrespectful for women to show their shoulders in public.

Since Hamas took over Gaza in June 2007, the terror group has forced serious restrictions on women's rights.

Although Hamas has denied imposing a fierce dress code, the group has been accused of enforcing a 'Code of Modesty' that makes sure women wear long gowns and head scarves in public.

As she wrapped up her speech, she concluded with a voice of support for her favorite football team - followed by two political statements: 'Go Birds, f**k ICE, and free Palestine'

Following her public declaration of support for Gazans, Einbinder doubled down on her statement.

'I feel like it is my obligation as a Jewish person to distinguish Jews from the State of Israel, because our religion and our culture is such an important and long standing ... institution that is really separate to this sort of ethno-nationalist state,' Einbinder told The Wrap.

Einbinder was born into a Jewish family as the daughter of SNL original cast member Laraine Newman and writer-director Chad Einbinder, who is a native of Pennsylvania.

CBS, which aired the telecast, muted her expletive line live on air.

The comments made by Einbinder come off the back of an open letter signed by thousands of people in the entertainment industry about the ongoing conflict in the Middle East between Israel and Hamas.

Einbinder, along with 3,900 others, signed a letter saying they won't work with Israeli institutions and film companies 'implicated in genocide and apartheid against the Palestinian people.'

Paramount, the parent company of CBS, was among the first studios to respond to the letter - saying they 'do not agree with recent efforts to boycott Israeli filmmakers.'

'Silencing individual creative artists based on their nationality does not promote better understanding or advance the cause of peace,' the company added.

Javier Bardem was another one of the Hollywood celebrities to voice his support on Sunday's red carpet, referring to a pledge more than 1,800 entertainment industry workers have taken to boycott working with Israeli film companies.

The Oscar-winning actor, 56, who wore a black and white keffiyeh around his neck, urged those watching to support the pro-Palestine movement in an interview with Variety, after the pledge was put together earlier this month - just ahead of the two-year anniversary of Hamas's October 7 massacre.

'Here I am today denouncing the genocide in Gaza,' the No Country for Old Men actor said. 'I'm talking about the IAGS, which is the International Association of Genocide Scholars, who [have thoroughly studied] genocide and declared a genocide.'

On the red carpet, Bardem, a native of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain who is married to fellow A-lister Penelope Cruz, explained his views and objectives in detail.

'That's why we ask for a commercial and diplomatic blockade, and also sanctions on Israel to stop the genocide - free Palestine!' Bardem said.

Bardem explained of organization efforts he and others in Hollywood are taking amid the politically-tense situation.

'We are getting together Film Workers for Palestine,' Bardem said. 'It's a great union [and] group that is getting more and more people attached.

'It's also important to clarify to Paramount that we do not target individuals by their identity - that's absolutely wrong - don't send that message, that is a wrong thing.'

While some political comments were brought up at the award show, the recent murder of Charlie Kirk was not mentioned.

Just four days before the glitzy red carpet event, the 31-year-old Trump ally was shot in the neck after beginning a Q&A session as part of his 'American Comeback Tour' in front of a 3,000-person crowd at Utah Valley University.

His sudden death has quickly taken over the political world and country as a whole, but no Hollywood stars acknowledged Wednesday's tumultuous events in their speeches.

Viewers quickly picked up on that, with some taking to social media express their anger about Kirk's 'heinous assassination,' as President Donald Trump called it.

'Couldn't be! I mean, these bastions of tolerance, peace, love, and wokeness will do it at some point in the show, right? RIGHT?!?'

One user noted: 'Charlie Kirk was not mentioned once at the Emmy awards. George Floyd was Mentioned numerous times in previous Emmy awards shows. Absolutely disgusting.'
