Hyderabad Metro Rail managing director N.V.S Reddy has been appointed as the advisor urban transport to the State government.

Mr. N.V.S Reddy is presently continuing in service as the HMRL managing director. He has been appointed as advisor for a period of two years and the government said the terms and conditions of his appointment would be issued separately. He will be replaced by HMDA commissioner Sarfaraz Ahmad who has been given full additional charge of the post.

In a minor reshuffle of the bureaucrats, the government posted 2013-batch officer Shruti Ojha as director of Women and Child Welfare department director relieving G. Srijana who is holding the full additional charge of the post.

Intermediate Education director Krishna Aditya has been placed in full additional charge of the post of Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions secretary relieving K. Seetha Lakshmi from the FAC of the post. HMDA joint metropolitan commissioner Kota Sreevatsa has been posted as HMDA joint metropolitan commissioner (general) and placed in full additional charge of the post of HMDA secretary replacing R. Upender Reddy who has been transferred and posted as HMDA joint metropolitan commissioner (sub urban region).

The government effected changes in the non-cadre officers with the transfer of Cooperative department joint registrar M. Rajireddy who is working as Civil Supplies Corporation general manager as Hyderabad Chief Rationing Officer. He relieves Zendage Hanumant Kondiba who is holding the FAC of the post.

Adilabad CEO G. Jitender Reddy has been transferred and posted as TG OILFED managing director in place of J. Shankaraih who has been transferred while Karimnagar special grade deputy collector and housing project director Rajeshwar has been posted as Adilabad additional collector (local bodies).

Special Grade Municipal Commissioner T. Venkanna who is waiting for posting has been posted as HMDA Joint Metropolitan Commissioner (core urban region & metro rail).

HMRL MD appointed as govt.'s advisor on urban transport
