The FT Alphaville Pub Quiz returns to London later this month.

Some things are unchanged: it's still going to consist largely of cruel questions about finance and such, which will spur further questions like "what did we do to deserve this?" and "why, god, why?".

Some things have changed: after the tragic demise of London culinary institution and recent FTAV quizzing arena Ping Pong, we'll be quizzing at Patch London (still near St Paul's).

So fire up your nerdiest group chat -- here's what you need to know.

Several rounds of finance, business and economics-themed questions in a classic pub quiz format, covering the whole gamut from ETF to WTF.

We have space for up to 20 teams of six people. For the sake of making full use of the space available, we'd prefer teams of six where possible.

Tickets are £30pp, and include food -- in this instance, that'll mean a combination of "slider", chips, and a variety of sides shared with your team. Vegan, gluten-free and halal options available. Payment will be required upfront.

As the name would suggest, it's very near St Paul's, City Thameslink and Blackfriars, quite close to Mansion House, pretty near Chancery Lane, Bank, Moorgate and Cannon Street, and roughly an hour from Heathrow airport. Its what3words is save.shrimp.late -- which is not dietary advice.

For your entry to be complete, you must:

-- CC all team members

-- give the mobile number of the team captain

-- state your team's name

-- tell us the omnivore/vegetarian/vegan split across your team

-- let us know if you have any other dietary requirements

Tickets may go very quickly -- so don't wait around. Once your entry is confirmed, a member of the Alphaville Literal Experiences™️ team will follow up with details about payment and food.

Space is limited and tables will be allocated first-pay-first-served.

Traditional pub quiz rules apply: punnier = funnier. Your team name WILL be read aloud at some point in the evening, and subsequently published, so aim high.
