Fans, players share gratitude through events, letters at Gocheok Sky Dome

[OSEN=Son Chan-ik Reporter] The professional baseball team Kiwoom Heroes will hold the 2025 season home finale event 'THANK YOU 2025, ALWAYS BE MY HERO' before their game against the SSG Landers at 6:30 p.m. on the 30th at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.

The club prepared this event as an opportunity for fans and players, who have been heroes to each other, to wrap up the season together and share gratitude.

First, the fan participation event 'Thank You, FANS' will take place. A 'Heroes Paper Photo Zone' decorated with thank-you letters written by players to fans will be installed inside Gate C. Players participating in the game will enter the field with high-fives from fans.

During the game, thank-you letters written by players will be displayed on the scoreboard instead of player introduction videos. Various events, including a 'roulette event' for Kiwoom fans, will be held to give away prizes such as Song Seongmun's long-handled umbrella, Shilla Stay accommodation vouchers, Glasslock Renz Cook and turntables, Shabuol Day meal vouchers, and Coway reusable bags.

The cheer squad will conduct the 'Thank You, Hero Cheer Squad' event. Before the game, the cheer squad will greet fans who came to the final home game in the hallway inside Gate B. During the game, they plan to energize the atmosphere with a fan appreciation performance.

An SNS event 'Thank You, HEROES' to support the players will also be held. Fans who upload photos taken in front of the 'Heroes Paper Photo Zone' along with messages supporting the team to SNS will have a chance to win Song Seongmun's autographed jersey through a lottery for 25 participants.

After the game, the 'Thank You, 2025' event will follow. A commemorative video summarizing the 2025 season will be screened, and the entire team will express gratitude to fans who supported them throughout the season.

The ceremonial first pitch will be thrown by Park Ji-ho, a member of the baseball team at Galsan Elementary School, who was selected through a prior contest. The ceremonial first catch will be done by Park Yong-tae, Park Ji-ho's father.

Park Ji-ho, who participated in the 2023 KBO All-Star Game Super Race as a representative of Kiwoom, is nurturing his dream of becoming a professional baseball player in the Galsan Elementary School baseball team. In particular, after receiving advice from his idol Song Seongmun that "you can excel in baseball even without being tall," he gained greater motivation and is striving toward his goal of becoming a baseball player.
