After rising to No. 3 in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll, the Aggies will hit the road to take on No. 19 LSU on Saturday, Oct. 25 at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana -- one of the toughest road environments in college football.

At 7-0 on the year and 4-0 in SEC play, Texas A&M is off to its best start in 31 years, though it still has three regular-season games remaining against ranked opponents, beginning with Saturday's matchup with coach Brian Kelly's Tigers.

For LSU, Saturday's contest will be a chance to get a once-promising season back on track. After a 31-24 loss last Saturday against Diego Pavia and Vanderbilt, the Tigers are 5-2, with a third loss likely knocking them out of playoff contention.

The Aggies have won two of the past three meetings in the series, including a 38-23 victory last season in College Station, Texas.

Le'Veon Moss injury update

For the second time in as many weeks, Texas A&M will be without one of its top offensive players. Running back Le'Veon Moss was listed as being out for the Aggies on the latest SEC athlete availability report.

Moss suffered an ankle injury in the first half of Texas A&M's Oct. 11 victory against Florida, which Aggies coach Mike Elko said will keep Moss out for "a significant amount of time."

Moss has run for 389 yards and a team-high six touchdowns this season while averaging 5.6 yards per carry.
