Yoon Jeong-soo discusses preserving mother's clothes and regret on 'Joseon's Love Expert' ahead of marriage

In the episode to be broadcast on the 22nd, Yoon Jeong-soo says, "These are the clothes my mother used to wear. I tried to burn one piece every year during the memorial service. It makes me think of her even more..." while introducing his mother's belongings, carefully preserved in plastic and hung in the closet. He continued, "Burning them felt wrong because they still carry my mother's presence and smell. I kept them, thinking, 'I shouldn't burn these,'" explaining why he has preserved his mother's clothes as if they were new, even over 10 years after her passing.

The VCR featured a photo of Yoon Jeong-soo affectionately embracing his mother, his only family member, 10 years ago, and an article detailing how he personally cared for his mother, who had dementia. The MCs of 'Joseon's Love Expert' deeply empathized with the story and were moved. Yoon Jeong-soo concluded the introduction to his mother's belongings room by saying, "This room holds many memories of how we lived."

Later, the production team asked Yoon Jeong-soo, "As you're about to get married, do you think of your mother?" He replied, "I mainly recall her when doing things we used to do together. I think of her when doing good things." He added, "My fiancée loves events. Traveling, eating delicious food... I wish she were here with us now..." while expressing his longing for his mother.
