Nine Top Innovation, 21 Innovation Award winners selected, including HL Robotics' autonomous parking robot 'Parky'

Daegu City announced on the 12th that it has selected 30 companies to receive the Innovation Awards at the Future Innovation Technology Expo 2025 (FIX 2025).

Ahead of FIX 2025, Daegu City conducted evaluations to select the Innovation Awards, which will serve as representative models of the future innovative technologies advocated by FIX. To enhance the credibility and expertise of the awards, a professional evaluation panel of 26 members was formed, including CES Innovation Award judges and global investors. Through their evaluations, nine companies were selected for the "Top Innovation Technology Award" and 21 companies for the "Innovation Award."

Notably, this year saw expanded participation from startups to mid-sized and large enterprises. Approximately 22% of the winning companies have overseas award experiences, such as the CES Innovation Award, indicating a significant increase in the technological capabilities of the participating companies, Daegu City explained.

According to Daegu City, HL Robotics received the Top Innovation Award for its autonomous parking robot solution "Parky." "Parky" is the world's first indoor autonomous parking robot. Equipped with Level 4 autonomous driving technology, the Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) recognizes obstacles, driving paths, license plates, and more without driver intervention, enabling it to park vehicles on its own. A Daegu City official stated, "We plan to demonstrate at the FIX 2025 venue to highlight the need for regulatory improvements to commercialize parking robots."

Additionally, Tmoney Co., Ltd. received the Innovation Award for its technology that automatically deducts fares when boarding buses or subways without requiring a separate terminal tagging action, as the smartphone app continuously emits low-power Bluetooth signals.

Local companies also achieved notable successes. THN won the Top Innovation Award for its film-type antenna, which can be embedded or attached to car windows or building exteriors, unlike conventional protruding antennas. Bairis received the Innovation Award for its integrated patrol system combining autonomous driving vans, drones, and robots. Silla System was awarded the Innovation Award for its AI-based solution for diagnosing and predicting the progression of musculoskeletal disorders.
