IVE Member Acquires Luxurious Hannam-dong Property Without Mortgage

Jang Won-young, 21 years old, a member of the group IVE, purchased a high-end villa in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, in full cash.

According to the Supreme Court's Internet Registry on the 12th, Jang Won-young acquired a 244-square-meter exclusive area unit at Lucid House in UN Village, Hannam-dong, for 13.7 billion Korean won on March 31 of last month and completed the ownership registration on the 31st of last month.

Considering that no separate mortgage is registered in the registry transcript, it is presumed that the purchase was made in full cash. The seller is Lee Ji-yong, former CEO of Daerim Commerce.

Lucid House is considered one of the most luxurious villas even within UN Village, as its sale price exceeded 4 billion Korean won at the time of its initial distribution in 2007. Located in a prime location offering panoramic views of the Han River and Namsan Mountain, it features only large units such as 85 pyeong and 94 pyeong, with only 15 households across two buildings, adding to its rarity. Additionally, it is highly regarded for its excellent privacy protection, equipped with a 24-hour security system and individual elevators.

Lucid House is also where actress Kim Tae-hee resided before her marriage. Kim Tae-hee purchased the property for approximately 4.3 billion Korean won in 2012 and sold it for 6.4 billion Korean won in 2018, earning a market price gain of 2 billion Korean won over six years.
